Course listings, Spring 2008

(Old listings: F05, W06, S06, F06, W07, S07, F07, W08)

The canonical course schedules are maintained by the Registrar, but I had a hard time finding what I needed, so I wrote some programs to filter and rearrange the course listings. These listings are not canonical.

Lab sections are listed with all associated lecture sections. In virtually all cases, students will need to sign up for one lab section if one is listed.

W, O, DV, and QL courses are marked as such, and have their own groups in the "requirements" listing. Note that this only includes those courses actually approved by the Curriculum Committee; many are still pending.

The following information is indicated typographically:

By department

By period

First the "normal" periods, then the double and triple period classes, and finally the classes that meet at non-standard hours.

Foundations and key competencies

Courses are listed by foundations area, if any, as well as by key competency met, if any (other than second language or information literacy).

For reference, the lists I'm using to generate these are as follows. Corrections are welcome.

Thanks to Karen Benedict for running off the input database, Steve Jones for earlier assistance, and thanks to everyone who's provided suggestions and corrections.
