Lab Reports
Your final grade will be an average of your grades on the two exams and
on the lab reports you will be handing in. Each exam will be worth
approximately 35% of your grade. You will be participating in eight
labs and writing a lab report for any five of them. Each of the lab
reports will be worth approximately 6% of your final grade. All lab
reports will be typed and written in proper APA Format. The labs will
give you a chance to experience first-hand many of the research
procedures and cognitive phenomena that you will be studying about this
term. They are also important exercises in communication and the
careful collection of data. The ability to clearly and concisely
communicate the results of something that you have done in an accepted
professional format will be an important part of almost any career that
you choose; consequently, this will also be important in your
laboratory reports.
