Instructions for the Research Proposal In Psych 369, Evolution and Human Behavior

You will do a literature review of at least five journal articles in some area of psychology and formulate a hypothesis based upon an evolutionary perspective of that problem. Your proposal will be done in APA format and it will look just like an empirical research paper, except that it will not have a results section. Your introduction will raise the question you propose to investigate and present the background literature. Your methods section will propose methods to test whatever question was raised in your introduction. Your discussion section will tell what you would expect to find and why; it will also discuss what the implications would be (for psychology as a discipline and for society at large) if you did the study and found what you expected, as well as if you did the study and found the opposite of what you expected. Close with an APA format references section.
