Oral Artifact Presentation
Instructions
1. Prepare
about a 5 minute presentation. (I'll dock your grade if you are more than 1 minute under or
more than a minute over the time limit.)
2. Tell
what artifacts you looked at.
A. Whose
were they?
B. What
all did they include?
C. What
time period did they cover?
|
3. Tell
what we can learn from the artifacts about education in the time they
cover., and how that connects to what you have studied in History of
Ed.
4. Speak
clearly and loudly enough to be easily heard. Don't talk too fast or slur your words. Talk to your audience, not over their
heads, and not to the chalkboard.
5. If someone
else has already presented on your artifact, don't say "So and
so already said everything I was going to say." Just pretend that we've never heard of
these artifacts before and give us your complete presentation.
6. If the
timer goes off before you have finished, just say "thank you"
and sit down.
