Topic: Lesson Planning, Entry slip writing, Classroom Management; Teaching
Strategies Assignment: Bring a question, an
observation, or a "bit of wisdom" to share and come prepared to
talk about how you (or your cooperating teacher) have been teaching. Read the Student
Teaching Manual before the meeting; we will be
talking about it. I will do some observations

your plan. Talk to your cooperating teacher(s) about computerized
grading/digital recordkeeping; come to seminar prepared to talk about what is
done at your school, and what more could be done I will do some observations

Assignment: Talk to your cooperating
teacher(s) about your legal responsibilities as a teacher. Bring a 5-minute video segment of you teaching to
share. Your video segment MUST be
digital. Bring it on a CD. And be sure
to try out your CD before you come to seminar. It must work. (Keep the camera on
you, not on the kids. We don’t want them in the picture. If they are, you’ll
have to get permission from their parents and I’d just as soon not have to
deal with that.) I will do some observations this
week and next. Submit—
