I
only met Jeremy once. It was about three years ago, when I was
collecting bats for my Ecology course. You gave me a call one
night, and I arrived with all my bat-catching gear. And suddenly,
Jeremy bounded onto the scene, wanting to help. I gave him a net,
which he proceeded to swish vigorously as he pranced around the
basement. His enthusiasm was infectious! In fact, it has
become one of my most memorable and enjoyable bat-catching
experiences. Clearly, Jeremy has touched so many lives in a
similar way, and I am grateful I had that chance to meet him.
Thank you. Jennifer Templeton (Jennifer teaches biology at Knox College. For more on Jeremy and bats, see the profile in the Galesburg Register Mail.) |
