These are words I should have shared with you years ago.  Jeremy was a good friend to John.

My fondest memories include watching from the kitchen window, another exciting game of "Around the World," knockout, or 1 on 1 basketball.  It didn't bother Jeremy if our younger daughter, Jane, joined the game. . . very nice.

Occasionally, I would give Jeremy (with John) a ride home when they were freshmen.  Always very polite—comfortable to engage in conversation with "John's mom."

Beautiful eyes and hair—energy to burn.  It was a pleasure to know your son, John's friend, Jeremy.

Marcy Simkins (Marcy is the mother of Jeremy's long-time Galesburg friend, John Simkins.)
