Tanzania August 2003
These photos were taken during a visit to
Tanzania in August 2003. I traveled with a group of faculty
colleagues from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. I spent 10
days in northern Tanzania visiting a number of national parks, followed
by a few days in Dar es Salaam meeting people at the University of Dar
es Salaam and getting familiar with the city.
During our time in northern Tanzania we used the
services of 'Birding and
Beyond' as our safari guides. The
specific parks that we visited on this trip were:
- Lake Manyara National Park
- Ngorongoro Crater National Park
- Serengeti National Park
- Tarangire National Park
- Arusha National Park
