Morris K. Udall Scholarship - for environmental research, competitive
Fulbright Scholarships - provide funding for graduating seniors to pursue research abroad post-graduation
Boren Awards - funding for study abroad in countries critical to US interests - see program description
Gilman International Scholarship - funding for study abroad for Pell-grant recipients

EPA Student Fellowships (NNEMS) - generally summer research opportunities
NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) - generally summer; this list provides available opportunities and links to applications
*GSA GeoCorps America Program - paid summer positions in the geosciences (must be legally able to work in the US)
*Pine Mountain Sustainability School Sustainability Initiative Internship - summer
*Student Conservation Association Internships - positions and time required vary; SCA provides a living allowance and other benefits, depending on length

Marshall Scholarships - Competitive scholarships for graduate study in the UK
Rhodes Scholarships - Competitive scholarships for graduate study at Oxford University; Knox must nominate, talk to Dean Haslem
*Fulbright Foreign Student Program - provides funding for international students pursuing a graduate degree in the US
*Davies-Jackson Scholarship - provides funding for graduate (B.A.) study at Cambridge University for those first in their families to graduate college.

*Gates Cambridge Fellowship - support for graduate education at Cambridge University for non-UK citizens
